Faith Community Service Fund is a great place to volunteer. 

You can be satisfied in knowing that you truly are helping to meet the communities’ needs. At Faith Community Service fund we value all of our volunteers. Everyone has talents! Volunteers are the back bone to our organization and we literally could not exist without them! We not only give support to our volunteers but also tools to develop their skills. And there are many different opportunities for volunteering: whether making phone calls, approving funds, meeting with families, fundraising, serving volunteers or on our Board- we have a place for you.  So if you would like to volunteer and make a difference contact Jenny at vols@faithnet.info

Len has been an intake with FCSF for about 2 years now.  He says that he really enjoys talking to the people, "helping them not only financially, but letting folks know they are not alone."

Len also enjoys working with other volunteers. He does other volunteer work too- providing meals for people, assisting people to know where their money is going, which Len says, "is hard to get people to sit down and do."  Len is also known to help people with small fix-up projects they cannot do themselves.

Len is married to a wonderful gal, Paulette.  They have 2 sons-Chad and Christopher.   Len and Paulette spend their summers doing anything but being inside.  He has worked in the Computer IT field since 1973, and is now sem-retired. 

Len is known by his family and friends by for trying anything once and if he is not good at it not trying it again.  You don’t tell Len that he can’t do something; he will take it as a challenge and figure out how to do it. Feeling most appreciated with a Thank You card or small gift, Len is a volunteer who excels in doing a good job. "Difficult jobs - I take as a challenge - there's nothing I won't try." A special man, Len has served hundreds of families in this area. Due to his humble nature - you'd never know you've just met a powerhouse!
